Fans of the New Orleans Saints—for Good Reason!

Everyone who has been to the New York City office knows Maureen Rivera, one of our patient care coordinators. Maureen loves taking care of our patients, guiding them through the preoperative steps and keeping in touch with them after surgery. Outside of Pfeifer Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Maureen is part of a wonderful family.

We were all excited for the NFL football season to start this year because Maureen’s grandson, Ethan Greenidge, was drafted last year by the New Orleans Saints. Yup, you heard it right. Maureen’s grandson is playing in the NFL!

Ethan’s journey to the NFL is a bit out of the ordinary. He received a full scholarship to play at Villanova, a great school that is known for their offensive linemen. Villanova has sent 86 players to the NFL! Ethan took a double major, including Russian as one of his courses (he does not shy away from a challenge) and graduated with a very high GPA. He had multiple job offers before he graduated BUT he also caught the eye of the NFL scouts. Ethan interviewed with over 20 NFL teams!

Draft day was very exciting, with everyone on pins and needles, not knowing which team would sign him. Multiple teams were vying for Ethan including the New Orleans Saints, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Seattle Seahawks. In the end, he signed with the Saints.

Maureen and her husband Ray are understandably very proud of Ethan. So, if you’re tuning in for a Saints’ game, look for number 73, defensive lineman. Go Saints!!!
